IF THE BLOB WERE PRESIDENT, IT WOULD BE BLOB-RAHAM LINCOLN
Matthew from Drinkbox Studios here with some big news about our hit game for the PlayStation®Vita ‘Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack!’ No, we aren’t submitting it to IGN’s top 10 longest game titles list. Instead, Mutant Blobs Attack is being released on Steam tomorrow! And it will be 10% off the full price of $7.99 for seven days! And once you get it, you’ll be able to enjoy it for UNLIMITED DAYS! Now I’m no mathematician, but I’m pretty sure that means Mutant Blobs Attack! works out to be around zero dollars per day in the long run. That’s less than your daily cup of coffee. Heck, that’s less than water. So, on August 15th be ready to get your Blob on like Donkey Kong!
Are you a bad enough dude/dudette to watch our brand-spanking-new Steam launch trailer?
Jump, absorb, and slam your way through this much-loved puzzle-platformer… now in HD! Use the blob’s powers of flight and telekinesis to get to those hard to reach places. Roll around fancy, updated mini-levels, tailored for the PC version! Compare your score to the rest of the world on the Steam leaderboards, kind of like that international sporting event in that English country that ended two days ago.
THANKS TO OUR BETA TESTERS!
The Blob wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for the generous help of our beta testers. They say it takes a village to raise a child. Well, the same thing applies here, except everyone in this village has a PC, and the child is a green blob with pointy purple bits. This was our first beta, and we were a little unsure about how effective it would be. Somehow, from one blog post and one tweet, we got a fantastic group of intelligent, professional people who made the beta run like a well-oiled machine. So thank you beta testers from all of us at Drinkbox!
Before I go, at the end of our beta we ran a small contest to see who could identify the most objects in the game that started with the letter ‘B’. We had two winners who won two REAL LIFE posters of IN GAME art. They had some creative responses.
From tester ‘Chuky’: bibelot, banderole, banquette, and, pictured below, is a bight (69) and a belt (52). If you thought 52 was a different b-word, I have to ask you, do you think of your mother with that brain?
And from ‘Brkfst’, the legendary Beerapult. Yes, that is a beer keg loaded in a catapult… in a football training camp… that has deadly lasers… BEERAPULT!
